My Orchid collection is inspired by the cold and unearthly beauty of these flowers. Orchids seem to me like they could be brought to the Earth from somewhere else in the Universe. To find subjects for my paintings, I went to some Orchid society exhibits where I enjoyed their beauty and took photos of these unusual flowers.
